Stats

We had our 4 month appointment last week and all looks well - just a little eczema that should clear up with a couple of recommended lotions (or, gasp, I might have to try cutting dairy from my diet. Yikes.). He had his second round of immunizations at this visit and these ones hit him a bit harder...I think the nurse may have missed the first time (I couldn't bear to watch) because he had an extra puncture and refused to put weight on that leg for the rest of the day. A little tylenol and lots of Mom snuggles and he was good as new the next day. He's not "off the charts" like we had thought - just an average, round around the edges, ever growing baby!

Weight 15 lbs 12 oz (50-75%)
Length 24 3/4 in (25-50%)
Head Circ 42.1 cm (25-50%)
He's so close to rolling over and he must think Brent and I are crazy because we're constantly trying new tricks to teach him how to tuck the shoulder and roll. We're seeing his personality grow and he's definitely a shy baby - he needs a little time to warm up to others, especially in crowds and has a hard time in loud situations (maybe taking after his Mom a little). But he has learned to use his shyness as a charm and flirts with everyone who will flash him a smile. He's talking up a storm these days and laughs more than any baby I've known...he's quite ticklish and loves to be naked. Our PEPS group had a photographer come to do shots of the babies and here is the link to those (click on page 4): http://www.nanbphoto.com/clients/peps/index.html Here are some random photos from the past few weeks.
