Fun run

That one time....

that Clara got her hand slammed and pinned in the bathroom door while Bennett was trapped on the other side in the bathroom and I totally freaked out. 

Turns out baby bones bend nicely under pressure. If I had had a level head at the time (rather than screaming), I probably could have saved us a trip to the ED and skipped this xray of her swollen, intact hand. I guess we created a memory (hopefully not her first). 

Camping

We went to the cabin for our first camp out of the year. The kids loved it and Bennett was so sad to leave, we set up camp inside once home. I'm really looking forward to more camping trips this summer. 

Adventures

I was in need of a little adventure. Brent was out of town and I was going a tad stir crazy at home with two kids. So I made a plan - take the waterfront water taxi to west Seattle and bike from there to the Car Free Days Festival. It turned out to be a big success (minus the gong show of herding 3 kids and two super sized bikes from the dock to the taxi).
